PLDC - Ali Daei, the all time best international goal scorer of Iran Football told reporters yesterday that the game against Japan is one of the most difficult games in the history of Iran's football but that the team is focusing only to win regardless. Daei continued: " The reality is that we are better than them and we should be able to beat them in Tehran to get closer to the World Cup in Germany." In regards to the strength of the opponent he said: "Japan is a very good team and very tough to beat but we know that victory against them will be a bridge to Germany 2006." It was reported in the AFC's official site that after a disappointing 0-0 draw in Manama, the Iranians will play to make up for that week performance by beating Japan. |
